①Trehalose: Also known as the 'sugar of life', trehalose is a natural sugar that retains the water in your skin and functions as a moisturiser, skin protectant, and antioxidant.
⓶Hyaluronic acid: Hyaluronic acid is a popular anti-ageing agent that makes your skin look younger by reducing fine lines and wrinkles.
③Aloe vera leaf extract: The leaf of aloe vera contains mucopolysaccharides that are effective in preventing dryness and help retain the moisture in your skin.
④Vitamin C: This ubiquitous essence long-known for its melanin-inhibition, collagen-production stimulation, and anti-UV properties is present in most of our formulations. It promises younger-looking skin by synthesising collagen and fighting free-radicals. It also works as a spot and blemish-corrector by inhibiting melanin production in the skin.
⑤Niacinamide: A type of vitamin B3, it has anti-ageing properties that makes it perfect for wrinkle-reduction treatment. Along with this, niacinamide also provides brightening and anti-inflammatory properties to many of our skin care products.
⑥Ceramide: Ceramide is a moisturising ingredient found in the outer layer of the epidermis, which holds moisture between cells and binds it to the skin. It is an ingredient that plays a major role in the barrier function of the skin, preventing the entry of germs into your body.

①Sakura flower extract: The sakura or cherry blossoms, a flower long associated with Japan, and a cultivar, the Somei Yoshino, is the source of one of our popular extracts. It makes for an ideal ingredient in creams and hair care products with its anti-inflammatory, whitening, and hair growth properties.
⓶Green tea (matcha): The Ibi-cha, a green tea variant sourced from Ibi, Gifu Prefecture, produces an extract that, aside from its whitening and anti-oxidant properties, also has proven deodorising effects.
③Yuzu extract: A native citrus fruit from Japan, yuzu has vitamin A that protects skin from bacteria and helps prevent acne! Yuzu is also a rich source of vitamin C that helps fix dullness and leaves you with beautiful skin!
④Izumo Yumura Spring water: We have elevated the humble onzen (‘hot spring’) water, a Japanese staple of skin care, as one of our active ingredients. This odourless, colourless, hypotonic alkaline water thoroughly penetrates the skin, allowing for maximum absorption of its traditional beautifying properties.
⑤Red soybean extract: One of our latest creations, this rare natural ingredient is extracted from its namesake, the red soybean, a rare species of soybean grown in select areas of Japan. The amount of amino acid in this extract is found to be 2 to 3 times higher than that of the regular black bean variety.
